Dr. Henry announced today increased restrictions for Fraser and Coastal Health Authority regions. The restrictions include indoor sports like Hockey.

BMHA games are cancelled effective immediately for at least 14 days.

Unless we hear further, BMHA ice can be used to deliver strict Phase 2 practices. This means 2 meters or “a stick and arm length” minimum separation on and off the ice at all times. Masks must be worn at all times when not on the ice. Players must enter the rink fully dressed with a hygiene kit for safe storage of their mask. Coaches and all volunteers are to ensure physical distancing is taking palace on and off the ice.

Thank you for understanding these measures are to keep our players and families safe and require everyone’s participation. We ask that all families be extra vigilant in keeping players home, with even only minor symptoms.

Please stay tuned for further announcements.
