www.puckmastersmapleridge.comHappy Summer, Hockey Players and their Families!
As many of you will have already heard, Richard and Veronika Gaudet found it necessary to close their hockey training facility in Port Coquitlam. They were very concerned about their "second family"; the many young hockey players that trained with them, and, after looking at the options, asked us to consider continuing what they had started and fulfill their training obligations. We, understanding their feelings for their athletes, have gladly made arrangements to
complete the sessions already purchased*and to provide ongoing training as needed. We also were asked to keep several of their young and enthusiastic coaches. Those of you who have enjoyed working with Spencer Edwards, Brenden Silvester, Matt Walker, Simon Denis and others know why. They are great young men and wonderful hockey players and mentors. Along with our Head Coach, Mitch Bartley, former Vancouver Giants great player and defensive coach, Justin Coutu, currently with Lowell of the AHL, we believe we have a great team. Partner that with affordable prices and a convenient location (1 minute from the Golden Ears Bridge and less than 15 from the PoCo location) and we have a
winning situation for everyone.
The purpose of this email is to let you know, now that the dust has settled, that we would love to meet you and provide hockey training where needed. Due to the uncertainty of the times, we still have many openings in our expansive offerings for summer training - full day and half day camps; 1.5 and 1 hour clinics; and our standard one-on-one training sessions. Please book soon so that we can schedule all our coaches before they have to look elsewhere.
Some of you have taken to opportunity to visit our location. We have really enjoyed meeting you. For the others, we are bright and clean and offer a great, positive training environment. Besides our training rink, we have a large and well-equipped dryland training area, weight training area (for older players with about 700 lbs of olympic weights) along with our great shooting simulator (much like the Hockey Hall of Fame - see
Visual Sports) and our state-of-the-art SKATING TREADMILL (see
endlessice.com). For pictures and for info on all our programs, please check out our website at
www.puckmastersmapleridge.com.
