Burnaby Minor Hockey Association is a non-profit, run primarily by volunteers from its membership.

Burnaby Minor Hockey Association is responsible for all Minor Hockey activities within the boundaries established by Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association (PCAHA). BMHA is one of forty-four associations under the Pacific Coast Amateur Hockey Association (PCAHA) umbrella, which it is responsible to and receives its mandate from which in turn receives its authority from the Canadian Hockey Association through BCAHA.

All players will be placed on teams by coaches and division managers at playing levels according to the player’s age, skill and experience. Every effort will be made to ensure this is achieved as fairly as possible.

 All teams in BMHA may participate at one of the following three playing levels.

 “A” Representative Teams (Rep Teams)

Players will play in a league formed by PCAHA. These teams may also compete for the PCAHA Zone and Provincial Championships at the end of each season. Atom Rep teams will play in a league formed by PCAHA in concert with other Associations.

 “C” Recreational Teams

For players not electing to play on or selected to play for a Rep Team will play in the Recreational “C” League formed by the President’s League under PCAHA.

 Hockey 1, 2, 3, 4

        Teams for all players aged 8 and younger.
