BANTAM TOURNAMENT SITE
For the past forty-six years, the Burnaby Minor Hockey Association has played host to one of most exciting amateur sporting events in British Columbia. Bantam “AAA” and “AA” teams from throughout the Province, from across Canada and the United States and from Europe, have come together in the spirit of competition and sportsmanship to participate in our Bantam Christmas Tournament.
This year again sees sixteen top teams putting in five days of intense competition starting on December 27th and culminating with our Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal Championship on December 31st, as we count down toward the New Year! This event helps support a hockey organization which has been a part of the British Columbia minor hockey scene since 1964 and who has played a positive role in our game both on and off the ice for over four decades. In order to salute the contribution that various individuals have made to amateur hockey in Burnaby over these many years, our Tournament conferences, divisions and awards are named for some of the "builders" who dedicated countless hours to their sport.
