2010 Registration Fees

Definitions

Burnaby Minor's General Hockey Program is primarily made up of boys, however, some girls enjoy playing in that environment and are welcome to do so. All fees in the General Hockey Program, however, are the same, regardless of the gender of the player.

Our Female Hockey Program is for girls only. The Burnaby Wildcats accept girls from Burnaby and from other jurisdictions that do not offer a female hockey program. It is our goal to run teams in each division, however, registration numbers always dictate how many teams, and which divisions, will be going forward in the season. This is impossible to assess prior to registration.

Additional Fees and Discounts

Early Registration Discount for Returning Players
Members registering their children as returning players* on-line between May 1 and June 30, 2010 receive a $50 discount off the fees listed above. Anyone registering after June 30 is not eligible for the discount. This is a no-exception policy. 

* Female Novice returning players (Hockey 1 & Hockey 2) do not qualify for the early registration discount as rates in this division are already highly subsidized. Thank you!

Third Player Discount
If you have three or more children playing in BMHA, the two oldest children pay the full rate and the rest receive a discount of $250.

Goalie Equipment Discount
A Goalie Discount of $150 applies to players using their own equipment. 

Ringette Discount
Girls already registered in Ringette receive an additional $100 off of the registration fees listed above.

Player Evaluations

Saturday, August 21 through Friday, August 27, 2010

Goalie Only Evaluations

Saturday, August 28 and Sunday, August 29, 2010

Goalies: please note that you will be required to participate in player evaluations as well as the Goalie Only Evaluations.

BMHA Policy re Goalie Registration:

•  From time to time we have a surplus of goalies at some levels.
•  Every effort will be made to accommodate all the goalies who apply, but sometimes registration has to be cut off and goalies placed on a waiting list.
•  In general, the priority for goalie registration is FIRST COME FIRST SERVED.
•  Sometimes rep goalie cut decisions or other issues may need an Executive decision re goalie placement that is NOT strictly first come first served.
