BMHA 2009/2010 Awards

Each year Burnaby Minor Hockey recognizes the achievements of their volunteers, players and officials with their annual awards. We are asking for your nominations for all except the President’s Award, Referree Awards, and the Sportsmanlike Team awards.

Coaching Clinic Certification Deadlines

All coaches who took a BC Hockey (NCCP) Clinic in the 2009 season should be mindful of the following:

Developmental 1: Post task assignment is to be submitted to the BC Hockey Office on or before March 31^st, 2010, fully completed and a copy kept by the coach as proof of prompt submission.  Failure to submit the post task by March 31^st you will not be certified at the Developmental 1 level and thus not be eligible to Coach carded/rep teams in the upcoming seasons. 

Coach Hybrid: Post Task Verification Form must be signed by the association President, Coach Coordinator or Coach Mentor and sent to the BC Hockey Office to arrive on or before March 31^st 2010.  Failure to submit Verification Form by March 31^st 2010 you will result in coach not being certified to coach a non-carded/house team in the 2010-2011season.

If you have misplaced your Coach Hybrid or Developmental 1 Post Task, a new one can be printed from the BC Hockey website.

Midget A3 celebrates a hard won victory over their season rivals Vancouver A2, Mission A2, Coquitlam A3, Vancouver T Birds A3, and the North Van MHA A3.

Atom C1: Ready for their Banner Game March 20th

Manager Laura Fridfinnson let us know the Atom C1 team, the Burnaby Phoenix, are preparing for their upcoming banner game in the Green Division happening March 20th. Good luck, Team!
